Tom Savage will run out as skipper at Kingsholm for the first time tonight as we stage a double header against Plymouth Albion [k.o. 5.00] and Scarlets [kick off 7.45] ... 

Conditions promise to be  much better than they were in Ireland for last week's hard fought 28-17 defeat against Munster with two strong squads selected.

Obviously most eyes will be on the second game with new signings Matt Kvesic, James Hudson and Tavis Knoyle featuring in that game.

The Albion game will also guve us a chance to see Jonny Bentley, Drew Cheshire and Dan George.
