Sarries, Cherries and Saints

The Cherry and Whites are playing the Cherry Blossoms at Kingsholm on Tuesday November 12th in what should be an entertaining and colourful game of rugby. But before the Japanese arrive in town that there is the small matter of getting our league season back on track ..

We need to get the Sarries game out of our system and let's face it victory over this season's league title favourites would certainly do that.

Fortunately, we are at home  this Saturday [kick off 3.15 - so there's an extra pint]  and if we can keep 15 men on the pitch for the duration we might just fancy our chances.

Incidentally. Nick Wood has been handed an 8 week ban for his silly stamp on Jacques Burger and he will be available to play again the day after the Japan game.

We were much better at the breakdown against a physical Sarries especially in the first half. In the second we ran out of steam probably because we had been a man down since the second minute.
