David Humphreys may not want to admit it but Friday night's game at Saints (on BT TV)  will give us a decent marker on how things are going under his regime..

Last time we wee there he and Lawrie Fisher had recently taken over and we were hammered 53 - 6. It's still a painful memory - tempered by a thrilling 33-33 draw in the return fixture at Kingsholm.

We won't start as favourites this time either, but it wouldn't surprise many oustide Northampton if we won.

Jonny May is back to reinforce our attacking threat with Rob Cook back in the 15 shirt and Willi Heinz rotating with Greig Laidlaw.

Darren Dawiduik appears for the  first time this season, and he'll be on the bench with debutant lock Mariano Galarza who has served his nine week World Cup suspension for making contact with the eye of NZ's Brodie Retallick.

The pack is the same as last week.
