A couple of months ago a home game against Falcons would have looked a banker ... not any more.
The Tyneside club has pulled off some notable victories recently- admittedly mostly at home. Theyve beaten Quins, Tigers and Saints at Kingston Park and only lost by one point at Wasps, and that is seriously good form.
The preparations for the Six Nations may be a factor, and in Glaws they will come across a side which hasn't been as hit as some others by call-ups.
Matt Kvesic has been back in the England training camp and will have to be content to start on the bench in a side which has been preparing all week for this encounter.
Henry Purdy returns on the left wing in place of Steve McColl with Rob Cook, Willi Heinz and Billy Meakes also coming back in.
Up front Paddy McAllister replaces Nick Wood at loose head with Ross Moriarty,Jacob Rowan and Lewis Ludlow making up the back row.
