Any win in Ireland is a good one but despite there being eight tries in this game it did reflect that this was the second tier competition.  

Fortunately we did just enough to deserve the 28-33 win at Connacht thanks to Owen Williams’  conversions and penalties with both sides scoring four tries.

James Hanson and Tom Marshall scorreed in the first halff with Henry Trinder and John Afoa - on his 100th appearance - going ovbere after the break.

Highlight was Henry Trinder beatring four defenders four defenders on his way  to the try line to give us a 17-10 lead at the break.

It means we have that vital home advantage against Falcons in the semi-final.
