Poor decision making and indicispline were at the root of an unexpected defeat at Kingsholm. Quins ran out 27-25 winners by virtrue of the fact that they stuck to their game and took the points when they were on offer .
Juan Ackermann is unhappy with what he saw as inconsistency from the officials, but everyone who has played the game knows that the side who keeps quiet and gets on with things tends to get the rub of the green.
So, we scored three tries to Quins' two, but they took advantage of the penalty count and sneaked it at the end as Marcus Smith kicked three second-half penalties.
We began well with Danny Cipriani's try establishing a lead before Nathan Earle crossed twice for Quins.
Two pens from Cipriani and a Charlie Sharples' try gave us a three point lead at the break only for Quins to keep picking uo points in the second half.
Danny converted another Sharples score to put us back in the lead only for Smith to win the game with a late pen.
Wasps away will not be an easy follow-up.
