Injured for Cas

The search goes on for that illusive Super League win - and the Celtic Crusaders will be hoping that it comes on Sunday as the Castleford Tigers journey to South Wales. The Tigers will be hurting after 68-22 defeat at the hands of St.Helens last weekend – but can rock-bottom Cru rub salt into their wounds?

The BBC had reported that John Dixon could be set to welcome back star-man Tony Duggan - but the player has not been included in Cru's match-day squad and looks set to continue his frustrating spell on the sidelines.

Matty Smith, Mark Lennon and Geraint Davies are also missing through injury as Cru continue their inaugural Super League journey with a heavily depleted squad.

Cas, meanwhile, are without Joe Westerman after the forward suffered a fit during the heavy defeat to the Saints. He has been left in Yorkshire awaiting test results.

The Tigers currently sit 6th in Super League with six wins from their opening ten fixtures. Craig Huby is also out with a serious hand injury.

Cas look something of an inconsistent side, having put their supporters through a 36-5 home defeat to Wakefield and a 28-6 away win at Warrington in recent weeks. They have let 251 points slip already - so hopefully Cru can expose some of their weaknesses on Sunday afternoon.

It's a 3pm start at the Brewery Field.
