Celtic Crusaders boss John Dixon has revealed that he'd love to bring Gavin Henson to Rugby League and to the South Wales club. The 27-year-old Ospreys back is a fan of Cru and is regularly seen attending games at the Brewery Field.
Henson is a keen follower of rugby league and fans have regularly raised the possibility of the Osprey switching codes and joining the Crusaders.
Of course, there is no guarantee that the player would succeed as an RL player. However, the hype and publicity a Henson code-switch would bring the Crusaders would be invaluable for the club.
Dixon has revealed his thoughts on any such move, stating: "I have not spoken to Gavin about it and no one has approached me. However, I would love to have him here."
Bridgend-born Henson has had problems with fitness in recent seasons; but was ever-present in Wales' 2008 Grand Slam triumph and remains one of the most recognisable faces in British rugby.
