The South Wales Scorpions' Head Coach Anthony Seibold has won the Co-operative Championship One Coach of the Year award. Congratulations are due on this fantastic achievement in the club's first season......

"I'm honoured to win the award and to be recognised by my fellow coaches," said Seibold who had the trophy presented to him at the Co-operative Championships awards ceremony by Michelle Keegan, a Coronation Street star.

"We've had an excellent season in South Wales and we've done it with a predominantly Welsh side - we fielded 24 born and bred Welsh players during 2010."We're now preparing for the 2011 season. We're in the process of re-signing many of our players from this season, we're holding open trials in December for new players to boost our existing squad plus we have players coming through the academy system. It's a pleasing time to be involved in Rugby League here in South Wales." 

This is a well deserved award for Anthony - massive congratulations.
