Three home games left.

The South Wales Scorpions have three home league matches left - against Keighley Cougars on 9th August; Oxford on 23rd August and Newcastle Thunder on 6th September. The match on 23rd against Oxford RLFC, who have lost their last five games as I write this piece,  is surely a must win game for the club and for the fans who have now waited for over a year for a win on home soil.

The last time the Scorpions played Oxford it was a close encounter with the English club running out 38-30 victors.

A home win would lift everybody's spirits after what has been a long and bitterly disappointing season.

The remaining games are:

Keighley at home on 9th August 3pm

Coventry Bears away on 16th at 3pm

Oxford at home on 23rd August at 3pm

Newcastle at home on 6th September at 3pm

Swinton away 13th September again at 3pm.

Some tough games but two winnable fixtures at Coventry and the aforementioned home match at home to Oxford.

I can see a potential of two wins there, anything else is a bonus. Personally I'd be happy to see a home win, the lads deserve it.

A season to forget, one win and too many heavy defeats to list.

At least the off field discussions have been fiesty!

2016 needs to be better on the pitch because the club are in desperate need of putting some good results on the board.

If we could beat Oxford and Coventry that would be excellent.

Jarrad, who are WE? is that we as in your mates rates in the Club? I only say I do not think we will win any more games based on the results of the past two seasons, I and others will hope that Im wrong, once again I feel that you can not handle opinion that doesn't conform to your own. I note that you have yet another dig at me and I imagine your mate goodscorpion will make no mention to it.

I also notice Gloucester have sealed a new big sponsorship deal, any on the horizon for us? I only ask you because that is your role in the club is it not? There is a Chippie in Canton who were kind enough to sponsor my daughter a few months back, give them a try!

Think before you type!

As I've said to you before Rugby Head, if you want to discuss things with me then let's chat after a game, I'll even buy you a pint in the clubhouse if you're so interested in my views. If not then please refrain from name checking me or making assumptions.
