There is a very good chance that Falcons will be bottom of the table after the next two matches ... but then it gets better. Glaws come to KP on Sunday top of the table and on the back of a superb performance when they put 40 points on a useful Sale side. Now they've signed Dr Roncero!

The Argentinian prop Rodrigo Roncero has 6 Argentian caps and is a formidable scrummager. He's finally got a work permit so wil probably play against us.

Doubtless he and the Gloucester coaches will be pouring over the video kindly supplied by satellite TV of our less than convincing show at Saints.

There's no doubt the pack will put on a better display against the mighty Glaws 8. We made Dallaglio look ordinary in the Wasps game ... even though the visitors could make a justified claim that they should have won.

But can we get up enough steam to beat Glaws. Can't see it myself.

Then its another hard trip to Tigers before we host Leeds the week after. Tykes are flying high themselves after some prudent summer signings but its North East old boys like Dan Hyde who are earning rave reviews.

They've beaten Tigers and Irish and look like taking over Sale's mantle as the rising stars of the North. That promises to be some game but one should be capabale of winning at KP.

As a nice respite we travel to struggling Quins the week after so that should get us moving back up the league!
