Fit Again

By Ridley
October 11 2002

Epi mas made it into the Parker Pen squad but is unlikely to play. He is rated as only half fit after recovering from strained knee ligaments and may not be risked. He is just one of a jumbo-load of players who have set off for the Alps and a tricky opener against Grenoble on Saturday night.

Whoever used his credit card to book this flight will be in for a stack of Air Miles. Only Dave Walder and Dave Richardson are not in the squad of 29 named by Rob.

Still it'll make a change from the People Carrier's. There might even be a bit of team bonding round the drinks trolley.

Kick off is 6.30 our time and BBC Radio Newcastle will be your best bet of keeping abreast.
