Pre-Season Preparations

Before the big kick off at Worcester, Falcons first have three pre-season matches and the Middlesex Sevens. Courtesy of Mark Smith, the Falcons' Media Manager, here's a few more details for your diaries.

Newcastle Falcons have had the kick-off times confirmed for their two pre-season tour matches in Ireland.

 

The tour opener against Connacht on Tuesday August 17 kicks off at 7pm at the Sports Ground in Galway.

 

This is followed on Monday August 23 when the Falcons face Munster at Limerick’s Thomond Park, with kick-off at 7.30pm.

 

Prior to that tour, the Falcons will be taking part in the London Pride Middlesex Sevens at Twickenham on Saturday August 14.

 

On Saturday August 28 the club finishes its pre-season preparations with a rematch of the Powergen Cup semi-final against Pertemps Bees at Kingston Park, with kick-off at 6pm.
 
Thanks to Mark for that.  The media day has also been confirmed for Tuesday 10th August, and this site will have a representative there (hopefully!) to ask the relevant questions.
