During the close season, Large from Saracens conducted a predictions poll. This is an overview of how the London Irish Supporters see the season going.
Given Sunday's performance against Bath, where expectations were dented to say the least, does anybody want to review their thinking for this? Do we still think mid-table is a good prediction?
Many thanks to Large for gathering and providing the data for this.
How the LI supporters see it going this season. This is averaged from all of those who sent their predictions to Large.
1. Leicester
2. Gloucester
3. Northampton
4. London Irish
5. Sale
6. Wasps
7. Bristol
8. Harlequins
9. Newcastle
10. Saracens
11. Bath
12. Leeds
The overall average looked like this:
1. Leicester
2. Gloucester
3. Northampton
4. Sale
5. London Irish
6. Wasps
7. Saracens
8. Newcastle
9. Bristol
10. Bath
11. Harlequins
12. Leeds
Obviously, supporters being one-eyed had high expectations for their own teams.
Only Gloucesters supporters came down hugely in favour of a Gloucester win in the League, with supporters of every other club having Leicester again. Interestingly, both Leeds and Harlequins fans placed their own teams at 6th.
