TFTM 2012 - 11: Justin Bishop

Ignoring the emabrassing Brian Blaney debacle (if you were going to come-back, Brian, could you not appear later in the alphabet?!). we focus Thanks for the Memories on another London Irish legend. Farewell Justin Bishop.

Another departing legend - Justin played for London Irish from 1997 until 2007, playing well over 250 matches and scoring more than 50 tries. Following a couple of seasons as player/coach at Doncaster, Justin returned home to join our coaching staff in 2009. Unfortunately I have only been taking photos at matches regularly for the past 3 seasons, so do not have any of Justin in action for London Irish - but there are a few of him playing for Ireland Legends a couple of years ago. Justin will be head coach at East Grinstead for the new season, returning to the club where he started playing mini rugby as a 6 year old. Thanks Justin and good luck at East Grinstead.
