Relive any 'non-sports related' moment in your life, what would it be and why?

The day my second niece was born in December last year. Douglas (my younger brother) and Kathleen had always wanted more than one child but things didn’t go to plan. Following 3 miscarriages, and 10½ years after Ryan was born, Jennifer Scarlett arrived – I cried buckets!

Enjoy a 'champagne moment' again in your career which one would it be and why?

Not quite champagne-like but landing my job at Land Securities 4 years ago. It’s a great place to work, the people I work for and with are brilliant and there’s a really strong work hard/play hard ethos. I work in the Retail Development team and we’re responsible for most of the major shopping centres and redevelopment of older centres in the UK. The girls are encouraged to visit the sites we work closely on so in the last couple of months I’ve been to Cardiff, Glasgow and Livingston.

Enjoy a 'champagne moment' again in sport which one would it be and why? Powergen Final. I’d love to enjoy the whole experience again without a monumental hangover. I’d been to a work away day/night in Birmingham on the Friday and didn’t get to bed till 4.00 am following a visit to the Jam House jazz club! Had to catch the train to London at 8.15 am – ouch and double ouch.

Go back in time and give advice to a 13 year old Christine Imrie what would it be? Ignore the teachers at Secondary School when they say “ah, you’ll be Andrew’s (older brother) sister then, he is excellent at this subject so we’ll expect the same from you”. Boy did I rebel against that.

Monaco Grand Prix.

Several of my cousins have also played there along the way and my older nephew plays scrum half from time to time when he’s not playing for the Uni team.
Tell us a claim to fame what would it be?

I went out with Midge Ure before he became famous.

See into the future what do you expect to be doing in 10 years time?

Pretty much the same as I’m doing now unless I’ve won the lottery of course. I’ll still be supporting LI whatever happens.
