Marcus Smith returns to the starting line-up as Quins head for a Sunday showdown at Sale kicking off at 3.00. Can he turn round our fortunes after the disastrous start?

It was  summed up in The Times this week by Will Kelleher who said the club was in a doom cycle, which would take several years to fix.

Hopefully not and perhaps all this criticism and analysis will be the spur this team needs to get the season rolling.

In addition to Marcus, Luke Northmore returns in the centre with Tyrone Green coming in on the wing. In the pack  Sam Riley starts at at hooker with  Will Hobson at loosehead alongside Simon Kerrod who will make his 100th premiership appearance .
