And what a gorgeous day it was with almost unremitting sunshine. 3,170 fans of both persuasions thronging the Club-house Patio, Ryearch Terrace and elsewhere, enjoying amiable pre-match banter and general chit-chat, in the sun, ale in hand. In short, enjoying "The Brickfields Experience" to the full.

A good report.
I think we had lots of possession but as usual we were unable to turn it into points.
A particular worry is our penalty kicking as neither of our kickers seem able to take the points on offer.
Plus there seems to be a lack of creativity from our backs, if you compare our back three with Bristols they seemed to make ground whenever they got the ball.

A number of visiting teams have had dynamic back lines when compared to our backs. In the main it seems that we constantly fail to put pace on the ball as it moves away from set piece/maul etc. By the time the ball reaches our outside centre and certainly a winger they should be going flat out.
Liam has had probably his best season but a sign of the lack of speed being generated is the number of times he ducks back in field trying to find a gap.
Maximum speed defeats those defenders covering across behind the first line of defenders, so one line break will result in massive gains in territory if not a try.(Sm44)
