Is this the new Sedgley Park and will they be fighting for the top places in the league next season?  

Since the first four games this year when they lost the lot they have only only lost 2 of the last 6 and one of those games was against Harlequins.  Their points tally has been high too scoring in the thirties for all of the last 6 games bar their trip to Twickenham.  

At the beginning of February they were looking at relegation to National league 2 but have now pulled themselves off bottom place, to be replaced by Pertemp Bees,  and only sit three points behind Newbury with two matches to play.  Is this anything to do with the threat of relegation being removed by the recent rule changes? 'Worried of Whitton' on the Quins unofficial web-site thinks it has and they are "throwing caution to wind" playing a running game rather than just kicking for goal at penalties. They even turned over a 13 point lead against Doncaster to come out with a 33 point to 19 win on Saturday.

Information on Sedgley Park is very sketchy as their website has even less information than Albion's official site.  Their local press also seems to be limited online.  Their home performance seems to be better than their away like another club I could mention. Phil Jones has been kicking for them recently with some success playing at fly half he has a personal tally of points of 109 for this year alone which includes three tries. Phil has played for England A and his former clubs include Orrell and Rotherham before joining Sedgley Park last summer.
