Quins have done it again. the boys for the big occasion rattled leaders Saints witha tremendous 41-32 victory at HQ. The win puts Quins level on points with fourth placed Bristol with two games to go ... and Bristol are the last ones up at The Stoop.

THis was nip and tuck throughout. Luke Northmore got things going in the opening minutes as he latched onto a cross kick from Marcus Smith.

They then held out while Danny Care had a ten minute rest - after being rash enough not to avoid a head clash with Courtney Lawes.

Saints did  take the lead when they got the benefit of a possible forward pass for Ollie Sleightholme to go over. It was  followed by a penalty from Fin Smith with Northmore keeping the excitement going as he crossed for his second.

A yellow card for Louis Lynagh for a deliberate knock on and then Fin Smith gave Saints a slender one-point lead which was overtruned as Stephan Lewies forced his way over.  Quins 19-13 up at oranges.

The "home" bonus point was secured when Smith and Care combined to send Cadan Murley in (left) with James Ramm responding for Saints.

The drama continued as Tyrone Green found his way to the bin, courtesy of a deliberate knock-on, but stll Quins fought on as Danny Care was replaced by Will Porter very shortly after he might have got a second yellow.

Saints did get  back into the lead as the game entered the final quarter with Tom Litchfield scorring. But no team is better at a last ditch assault  than Quins .It duly came as the fresh legs of Porter got him over the line twice.

Saints weren't prepared to give in as Lawes got his side's bonus point try and it was left to Jarrod Evans, marking his appearance from the bench, to slot the penalty which gave his side the two score breathing space they needed.
