You start to get a tingle about a new season when a couple of big new signings suddenly appear. Now we can look forward to seeing Leigh Halfpenny and Wyn Jones in the famous quarters when the season kikc off on September 22nd at Sale ..

Both are British Lions and bring a wealth of experience along with their talent.

Halfpenny is now 35 and arrives from Crusaders in New Zealand while 32-year-old Wyn Jones (above) has been playing loosehead for Scarlets.

Their arrival gives strength in depth to the squad with Halfpenny no doubt looking to mke his mark in his first ever season in the Premiership.
