Fixtures Announced for 2026/27

The fixtures have been released by National League Rugby and 3 friendlies announced by Albion.    

The August friendlies could be quite a challenge staring with an away trip to Swansea, who finished a respectable 6th place in the Super Rygbi Cymru.

This is followed by a visit from Exeter University - who avoided relegation from NL2W by virtue of a convincing win over Stourbridge. That said, in the past the students have provided Albion with some difficult opposition.

Lastly we welcome The Pirates back to Brickfields. This will be a thorough test of Ryan Lamb's new side, from which more will be learnt about Albion's weaknesses than their strengths - not a bad thing.

The league starts in earnest at the beginning of September, with a difficult trip away to Rosslyn Park who finished fourth last season.

Love the matches against the Welsh teams.
Something that used to be regular before the English and Welsh leagues made their presence felt.
