On a damp, if not wet, day, on a very soft pitch with puddles behind the gaol areas, Albion took to the field against a concerned and highly motivated Bristol, lying only 3rd in play-off pool A and needing a convincing win. In the 1st 10 minutes Bristol dominated the game. They had the possession and the territory.

His trip is going well and hats off to him he will complete bottom of South Island to the top of the North Island very soon. He is holding up well and enjoyed the hot pools while staying with ushot smiley
Keep on reporting after the matches(Sm154)as I do look forward to reading them(Sm152)

Hmmm... I also enjoyed your account of the disappointment last Friday. One thing I learned out here was the origin of the blue bin story - most amusing. Also the Barnstaple Dog tale.

It was a most enjoyable stay - the Thomas clan certainly pulled out the stops for their first visitor from home. And I actually got to see SJ mildly interested in a team called the Chiefs getting a win. I was resolutely for the Highlanders, of course. Hope the boys give you something a little more positive to write about for next time.

I have to say I thought we defended well, but we were fortunate that Bristol were not more clinical as it could have been a 50 pointer. We created almost nothing in attack in either half. If Bristol wake up we could be in for a long afternoon next Saturday.

On the other hand, with things the way they are, no-one can afford not to win against us. Puts a bit more pressure on the opposition and we've nothing to lose at this stage....
