Now there are only 4 games left where does it leave us??   

Pirates lost to Quins as expected even though they were selling pints for a pound to get the support in so they still sit on 71points. 

Albion lost to Bedford but manage to claim two bonus points and so sit on 63 points.

Titans lost to Doncaster and although they picked up two bonus points too and sit on 61 points they were expected to win convincingly.

Of these three the best for current form seems to be Albion. Not many people would have put money on them to win on Saturday so I think most would have been pleased to come away with the two bonus points but when you come so close to a win you can not but say "if only".

Albion will still need to work to hold on to our 4th place but we have a reasonable chance of coming 3rd.  We still have to play Pirates and Quins away and the form book says that we should win the first with plenty of support. We know that Quins are beatable and with a large crowd and the last game of the season it could go either way.  The home games will probably be tame in comparison, London Welsh and Sedgley Park, but we must not be complacent and the team will need plenty of support at these home games too.

Titans have the easiest ride on paper but have only won two of their last eight!  They will be looking to change the run when they entertain Pertemp Bees on Saturday.  They then have two further home games before they play away for the last match of the season.  They may move ahead of Albion for a while as they have a match on 8th April whilst the rest of us have a week off.

Pirates have  only won two of their last seven matches.  They have Albion to face at home which may turn out to be the 3rd place play off match.  They have Otley and Coventry away and finish the season with a home match against London Welsh.

Quins are set to complete the season on top and return to the premiership after just a short visit to National League One unless they loose to Sedgley Park and London Welsh at The stoop as well as the game we aim to win.

Bedford are now 17 points clear of Pirates and still 13 points behind Quins seem destined for second place.
