Pirates have now lost at least 6 players.
Although Pirates have made a number of signings already they have lost the following from next season's line up.
Richard Welding who has only been with the club for one season is now off to Leeds just as they are relegated to National League one. Richard has played 23 matches for the Truro based side and is their top try scorer on 16 tries so far.
Tom Barlow late of Albion is Pirates main kicker this season, putting the ball between the posts 51 times, is expected to be fit enough to play on Monday against his old club after injury. Tom has signed for Nottingham who are sitting mid table.
Prop Nick Adams who as well as playing for Albion has also played for Leicester and Nottingham has signed a two year deal with London Wasps.
Giant Lock Will James born in Plymouth and yet another ex Albion player is moving this time to Gloucester. Will is 6" 6' tall and weighs in at 19 stone and nicknamed the "Bull".
Number 8 Joe Bearman who has run in some 5 tries for Pirates this season standing at a mere 6" 4' has signed to Newport-Gwent Dragons who sit 6th in the Welsh Premiership.
22 year old Matthew Jess who has run in 6 tries this season from the wing is also on the move to Newport-Gwent Dragons.
Together this season these six have notched up 269 points. With all these good players leaving the club will the Cornish Pirates be as good a club next season?
