Quinssa are delighted to announce that, following the enormous success of the last 3 years’ appeals, we are once again supporting the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice this Christmas. This year we are looking for donations of:

• DVDs (suitable for any age, but especially 10-16 year olds – preferably new out or very popular films)
• Cause and effect toys – toys that light up/make noises when buttons pressed
• Footballs/Rugby Balls
• Small toys for their sensory room and to give as presents to children who have complex needs (e.g tubes that light up,
• different textured balls, sensory books etc)
• CDs of popular music – the ‘Now’ CDs are popular with the kids, and any hit CDs
• Christmas music CDs (for the hospice)
• Slipper socks
• Games for PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii or X-Box (for use in the hospice)

Gifts should be unwrapped please, in gift bags if possible, to enable the staff to match age appropriate presents to individual children.

We will be collecting your gifts (plus any cash you would like to donate) at our stand in the Etihad stand bar before the following home matches:

• Saturday, 28th November (Gloucester)
• Sunday, 13th December (Sale)

If you are unable to make our stand on either of these dates, gifts can also be handed into the LV Reception at The Twickenham Stoop during normal office hours.
Your gifts will be presented to the children at their Christmas Parties again this year and we will have player attendance at the one for the over 5’s again.

The amazing service provided by Shooting Star is growing and they currently have around 200 children registered with them. We would obviously like to provide a present for each of these children.

A Gift for a Gift: Etihad are once again kindly supporting this appeal and as a Thank You for supporting the Quinssa Christmas Gift Appeal for The Shooting Star Children’s Hospice, donate a toy/CD/DVD or cash at the Quinssa stand and you will be entered into a draw for a pair of tickets in the Etihad Corporate Box for the Leeds Carnegie match on Saturday 9th January.
