Nick Duncombe Honoured

Harlequins will be retiring the number nine shirt for the rest of the season, for the second team game against the Army Matt Powell wore number 16 on his back. From Sunday’s game at Bristol onwards the famous Quins shirt will have an addition - ND9 will be embroidered under the Harlequin.

It may have been expected that the club would have honoured Nick in this way but there is another tribute that was much less expected but which only goes to show what high regard Nick was held in by team mate and opposition alike – the Canadian sevens squad will also be wearing his initials on their shirts.
