Harlequin Ladies have had a fine season which culminated with their end of season dinner and awards. Congratulations to Sam Marshall

Congratulations to Harlequin Ladies 1st XV captain, Sam Marshall, on recently achieving her RFU Level 3 Coaching Award. Sam is now one of the most qualified female coaches in the country, along with the likes of Carol Isherwood, RFUW Performance Director.

Congratulations also go to the following Ladies club members, who received awards at the Harlequin Amateurs and Harlequin Ladies End of Season Dinner on Friday:

Most Improved Player of the Year – Laura Coy
Most Promising Player of the Year – Saskia Brazier-Kobus
Club Player of the Year – Alex Burbidge
Clubman of the Year – Pippa Carey, for her dedication to the youth squad and acting as “surrogate mother” for the senior team.
“Not Bad for a Biddy” Award – Helen Cushion
Players’ Player of the Year – Susie Seymour-Smith

The evening was a great success with the largest turnout ever. Many thanks to Vicky Gallagher and Chris Kelly for all their hard work in organising the dinner.

And finally..

The Harlequin Ladies will be hosting their first ever Family Day at Twickenham RFC on Sunday 18th May. The day will include a Touch/Tag competition for the whole family as well as the Sue Moloney Memorial Cup game against Bracknell. Please contact quinsladies@hotmail.com for more information.


The Harlequin Ladies are always on the lookout for new players. Whether an old-hand or a complete novice, we look forward to hearing from you. Harlequin Ladies train on Wednesday and Friday nights from 7.30pm to 9pm on the training pitch behind the 1st XV pitch at The Stoop. The U16’s squad trains on Friday nights from 6pm till 7pm at the same venue.
