The women players of Harlequin ladies rugby team take no nonsense either on or off the pitch – and it’s a foolish man who doesn’t deliver on any promise made to them.
So it was with not a little bravery that Hangover Prevention Technologies Limited, the Dublin based manufacturers of Lifeline Hangover Defence, offered Lifeline to the ‘Quins Ladies to help prevent hangovers on their recent Dutch tour.

Guineapigs on Tour
“ We know Lifeline works – but really wanted to put it through the toughest of tests to prove it once and for all” said Managing Director Kevin Haig. “I’m delighted to say that Lifeline passed this test with flying colours and that the only reason any of the ‘Quins Ladies are looking for me is for more product!” joked a relieved Haig.
Lifeline performed incredibly well in this toughest of trials, provoking high praise from all of the players – even the one teetotaler: “There was a marked difference between this tour and previous ones. Players genuinely didn’t have hangovers and I was amazed!” Most comments echoed that of Irish consumers, however – “I usually feel dreadful – and didn’t. Where can I get more?”
HPT has responded to growing demand for Lifeline Hangover Defence by simultaneously launching it in vending machines in selected pubs and in a new multipack in pharmacies and healthfood stores in Ireland. In addition, Lifeline is being exported in growing numbers to the UK.
With results like these, it looks as if Lifeline Hangover Defence will continue to grow.
