A bit of additional info, Rory McKnight (5) in action for Bath Uni against Exeter last season.

Interested to see how this years crop progress SW. It would be great to see another player emerge from the left field like Will Roue did last season.

Agree Matt, have to say I was impressed by Alex Ridgeway in the u20s World Championship. I know another back row is a big ask but he is somewhat different in that he has similar acceleration to Kepu, from the base of the ruck. We have some big young lads but getting up to speed is an issue for some of them.
If we are playing the Connor Treacy/Fitz Harding analogy I'd go for Nathan Hughes/Alex Ridgeway I could be wrong as it obviously depends on the opposition.

Good to have three possibles in the second row coming through. Seems to be lots of potential there and in the absence of a 'sure thing' (whatever that means I suppose) better to buy multiple tickets and see if we win a prize

Yep we could really do with 1 or 2 of those locks to kick on.

I have loved seeing the EOG body transformation from afar. As SW says he has a high ceiling and a rare set of physical and skill attributes- I would back him to be the one breaking through this season.

Like how emmanuel is developing and assume he may be 4th choice this season which means he could get the odd bench appearance. Looks like he has piled some weight on to me over the last year.

Imagine Isaac mears may be 4th choice also - again could get the odd game which would be exciting.

Shame treacey has a silly logjam ahead of him- hope he has some patience.

Feel like sam winters is another they really rate- again a position with crazy number of options but I think he will make the matchday 23 occasionally
