OK, I fully understand CC, works perfectly in the thread. Thanks to many Bath posters who supplied food and drink info. Anything posted as additions I'll add so that CC can update the resource. In case it's not obvious all listing have links to go direct to the source of the info.

Cheers FA, I'll note those with the comments, it has occurred to me where do people go for a post match curry and favourite dishes?

I used to like that Curry house upstairs on Pulteny bridge with the fantastic ceiling, The Grand Eastern. Haven't been for years though

I thought they moved from Pulteney Bridge to Quiet St a few years ago, which is where the ceiling is, as The Eastern Eye?

If you are ending up at the Station then Bikanos in Widcombe Parade is good having had a few pints of Electric Bear in the Ring o Bells

Cheers for the update, any reason for the Brew House or just to be up to date? Whats the story in relation to the Fez?

PG any chance of a few bullet point words to give readers an hint as to what these pubs are like. I’ll update them then.

Quote:Thanks for the heads up. I’ve yet to try Bandook. Is Chai Walla on anyone’s list? Essentially a treet food from a building, very tasty and ideal for a match day takeaway. Other than the few I frequent, I’ve not been out much in Bath since moving away and I’m only in office once or twice during the week, so I can’t really add much more that is fully up to date.BathMatt53
Personally I would avoid Mantra like the plague IMO. Used to be very good when it opened, I have had a couple of really really awful meals there recently and know of lots who have experienced the same. I would always go Bandook in Shires Yard now, especially the Tiffin Wallah lunches which are very reasonable.

The Griffin Inn, Monmouth St has been recently (6 months) bee n taken over and refurbed by a Season Ticket holder at the Rec. Decent Ale and food and discount on match days on production of a ST.
Eastern Eye used to be great now as the Great Eastern is rubbish. Bengal Brasserie decent but require a deposit in advance for groups.
