Late Fightback

Tom Cruse

Two late tries weren't enough enough for Wasps to take the win at The Stoop but they gave Quins a big shock.

The 29-24 defeat earned us a deserved losing bonus point and there was a big plus in the second half return of Jack Willlis from his one year injury lay-off. Unfortunately, we did lose Tom Cruse to an early injury with Gabriel Ohgre coming on.

Quins went ahead with a try from Beard, after a quick tap from Care, and Jones put them furher ahead as went on for oranges 12-3 down.

Cadan Murley crossed  for the hosts after the break before Tom Willis went over  for our first.

Unfortunately, Louis Lynagh regained the advantage for Quins but Wasps were not prepared to capitulate - a late rally we had the home supporters biting their nails.

Those late tries came courtesy of Spink and Toomaga-Allen - it wasn't enough and we are now seventh.
