Since their election last week, the committee of the new Connacht Clan has been hard at work setting the wheels in motion for the coming season. Really looking forward to this double header, just got my accommodation booked for the Harbour Hotel in Galway, seems close enough to town to be in the action.
I've organised pub crawls in Gloucester for Ulster, Leinster and Munster fans in the past, might have to look into that again if people are keen. With a 1540 kick off, a 1100 start we'd have time for a few pubs before getting to Kingsholm and staking claim to a spot in the Shed at 1400ish. The ground doesnt open until 2 hours before kick off, it being a HEC game and a obscure kick off they might up that a tad though.

Is anything special happening in Galway on the Friday night? Would be a good craic to meet up with some fans in a suitable drinking house.

Jim you reckon it is easier to get to Kingsholm via Birmingham airport(trains etc ) than bristol?

Even my mate from Bristol says the Birmingham route is easier for the connection to Gloucs.
