Munster A 22 - 20 Connacht A - Last Gasp Win For Munster A

Connacht A lost out to Munster A in Thomond Park on Friday despite a spirited display by a side that started with eight homegrown players and had a further seven on the bench.

A late Tom Gleeson try saw Munster snatch victory in injury time after Connacht had led at half time 14-9 thanks to first half tries from Conor Finn and Tadgh Leader.

Eric Elwood was handed another injury concern however in a position where cover will be essential as Stewart Magure who picked up an injury late in the second half having had a fine game at tighthead.

Galwegian centre Leader kicked the conversions and two second half penalties, Munster’s other scores came from three first half penalties from Declan Cusack and two second half kicks from JJ Hanrahan who also added the all important late conversion,
