New Sponsor for Galway Bay FM Rugby

Rabo Direct have teamed up with Galway Bay FM for the 2011/12 season to guarantee live radio coverage of all Connacht’s games in the coming weeks and months of what is without question the most eagerly anticipated season in Connacht rugby history.

The new partnership means that the Galway Bay FM rugby commentary team will be in Treviso on September 3rd as Connacht kick off the new season with a difficult clash away to the Italians.

AUDIO: Rabo Direct Ireland Chairman Roel Van Veggel Speaks to Rob Murphy about their Pro 12 sponsorship and the link with GBFM.

Knockon.ie editor Rob Murphy will be on commentary Joe Healy will be on analysis for each game as the season kicks off with trips to Italy, Edinburgh and the Ospreys.

Excellent news. I'm not a fan of listening to games on the radio but it is the only outlet we have for anything other than updates for many of the away games starting with Treviso.
