 The Cardiff Blues web site today officially unveiled the new Heineken Fan Zone, situated below the South Stand. I visited the new fan zone last weekend and took some photos of the new-look area.

The Heineken Fan Zone will, sadly, replace the Cardiff Arms Park clubhouse as the main gathering point for fans. The downstairs clubhouse bar will remain member-only, this is available to purchase as Cardiff Athletic Club membership at a cost of £40. The upstairs bar will now be used for corporate sponsors and guests and will not be available to the public.

The photos below were taken last weekend and show the Heineken Fan Zone near completion.

I asked about all this last week and was told that you can use the pack room or the fan zone if you are not a Cardiff athletic member.
