POLL RESULT - CHOICE CARDIFF BLUES CAPTAIN COMING SEASON

You have voted for your choice as captain for the new season, with a new coaching staff coming in and in a World Cup year you have picked a man who injuries permitting will be playing through the season. % of the votes as follows:

Josh Turnbull - 38%

Josh Navidi - 31%

Ellis Jenkins - 19%

Gethin Jenkins - 12%

 

Surprisingly, Sam Warburton the national captain did not get one vote, which I guess is down to his committments to Wales this year and his dual contract rules, but Gethin Jenkins who will be away with Wales a lot did get votes.  So this purely based on dual contract restrictions?

Lloyd Williams was roumered to be the captain for the 2015/16 season. I would personally opt for Navidi though.

Warburton didn't receive a vote because, unfortunately, when he plays for the blues he does not put in a captain-like performance. Some instance last year I didn't even realise he was on the pitch. If fully fit I'd still pick Navidi at 7 over Warburton.
