The three Blue Lions are in the squad for this Saturdays widely anticipated game against the New Zeland Maori. Martyn and Shanklin both make the starting team, while Gethin will be hoping to make an impression if he comes off the bench.

Shanklin starts on the wing against following a good game there versus the Bay of Plenty last week giving him a good chance of getting a test spot there. His 13 jersey is once again taken by Lions captain, Brian O'Driscoll. Martyn Williams, unsuprisingly, starts at 7.

The Maori match will see the biggest Welsh contingent in the squad so far with a total of 7 (4 in starting line-up, 3 bench).

Replacements: S Byrne (Ireland), G Jenkins (Wales), B Kay (England), M Owen (Wales), D Peel (Wales), R O'Gara (Ireland), S Horgan (Ireland).

The Welsh boys who missed out were Gavin Hensen, Gareth Cooper and Gareth Thomas. Coop is yet to have started a match, while Thomas is yet to make an appearence.
