The Cardiff Blues fly half has signed a new 2 year deal, despite holding strong talks with Bath.

Robinson, who's brother Jamie is also set to confirm his resigning, was in Jessops new store in town today with Rhys Williams and the EDF Cup, having photos signed for fans.

He confirmed to myself, and the Echo, that he had indeed put pen to paper on a new 2-year deal, while winger Williams is pushing hrd to be on the bench for the Magners League March 2nd match with Munster.

Robinson's contract extention comes as a major boost for fans, who have heard rumours of the Welsh international leaving to the Guinness Premiership. He was one of a number of Blues players being linked away from the Arms Park, Jamie Robinson, Nick Macleod, Mike Phillips the others, with the latter today being touted as a target for the Ospreys.

However, the Echo has replied to speculation on this site that Kiwi full back Ben Blair could be released early from his contract due to homesickness. (The artcile can be seen below as 'Contract Lengths')

The Echo's article said;

"Meanwhile reports indicating Blair is ready to return early to New Zealand are well wide of the mark. Fans' website messageboards have claimed the former All Black has failed to settle in South Wales. But a source close to the Arms Park management set-up dismissed the suggestions as 'complete nonsense'."

So there you are, as the site slogan goes - 'Make the noise and you ill be heard!'

Once again, the Echo hearing your noise!
