The clubhouse could be honoured with some silverware for the first time in a while, as CRFC take on Llandovery.

The Cardiff club side take on the division 1 minnows in Saturdays Welsh cup final match at the Millennium Stadium, and could bring some much needed silverware back to the Cardiff clubhouse, haviong looked bare since a year prior to regionalism.

The team for the match looks like this;

Jamie Roberts; Elgan Jones, Richard Davies, Richard Jones, Leon Andrews; Craig Evans, Tom Isaacs; Rhys Gill, Ross Johnston, Scott Roberts, Chris Stamatakis, James Down, Gavin Lucas, Adam Powell, Gareth Gravell (captain)

Replacements: Ryan Price, Gareth Gunter, Alex Murphy, Matthew Amos, Nick Hampson, Darren Allinson, Leigh Halfpenny

Meanwhile, the Blues take on the Borders tonight, needing at least a win, hopefully with a bonus point, if they are to continue in the hunt for the Celtic League title (Magners League).

Andy Powell is a late change to the side already showing many changes from the one which pinched a huge victory over Ulster last weekend.

Questions have been raised over Dai Youngs selection ploicy, with the Blues needing at least a win, if not all 4 points. The side resembles a weakend backdone, despite no player needing to be rested, and the importance of this match.

On top of Powell's injury, its been announced that prop Filise will miss the title run in due to breaking his hand.

It is likely to be the Cardiff Blues final encounter with teh Borders, the Scottish Rugby Union deciding to kill off the club at the end of this season. That has led to an exodus of scots abroad, and also to some high scoring matches against the Netherdale side. Hopefully this eveing will be no different, in the away sides favour.

Blues: Nick Macleod; Rhys Williams, Jamie Robinson, Tom Shanklin, Mosese Luveitasau; Nicky Robinson, Ed Fairhurst; Gethin Jenkins, Rhys Thomas, Gary Powell, Deiniol Jones, Scott Morgan, Mark Lewis, Robin Sowden-Taylor, Xavier Rush (capt).
Replacements: Scott Roberts, Gareth Williams, Bradley Davies, Rhys Shellard, Mike Phillips, Dafydd Hewitt, Tom Riley.

Cardiff Blues face the Dragons at home, seeking revenge after their festive period loss at Rodney Parde, Scarlets away and finally Leinster at home in the run in to the season. Get involved and show your supoport by being there and making the noise. I only wish i could be there to joi you.
