Cardiff and Wales legend names his greatest Welsh 15 by player that he played with. Any surprises?

A little bit surprised he chose Henson instead of Jamie at 12. And i'm glad he chose Peel at scrum half. I think people forget how good he was for Wales for a couple of years. I didnt rate him when he burst on the scene but he was brilliant in 2005

Just shows how good Henson was back then to keep Roberts out of the 12 shirt.

So many good scrum halves to choose from, but your right about Peel the season before the Lions series in New Zealand he was outstanding. Great service from the base, and always looking to snipe when it was on.

Seems to me that Peel was the only player to whom Gatland's Law applied

Get your point, was a few that seemed to apply more to than others, Hook and Byrne being two others, but easier to apply to certain players when you able replacements to step in,ie. Mike Phillips for Peel, Halfpenny for Byrne and Priestland for Hook.
