Dai Young names his side to face bottom-of-the table Connacht on Saturday at the Arms park.

There's just one change to the side that beat the Dragons in the last outing, flanker Robin Sowden-Taylor gets a much deserved starting place, the first since his return from Wales' Rugby 7's Commonwealth games bid. He, along with Blues stars Rhys Williams and Wayne Evans ended the tournement a very respectable 5th, and at last, his great form has been rewarded.

RST is held very high in regard by Blues fans, but he's found game time very rare in dai's squad, with Lion Martyn Williams chosen ahead of him. However, Martyn is lowered to the bench for Saturday's game, and will have to earn his place back if Robin performs well.

Elsewhere there are no changes, Tristan Davies continues at centre in the absence of Jamie Robinson, while Kort Schubert's good form sees him keep his place despite Mark Lewis' great performance against Pontyprydd for Cardiff last Friday.

The Cardiff Blues currently lie 3rd in the Celtic League table, and are Wales' best hope of a late title surge, however, with games against 1st, 2nd and 4th to come in the final 3 rounds, it's cruical the boys pick up every point available to them starting with a 5-point win against Connacht.

"We have to keep winning to stand a chance, but realistically we need other sides to do us a favour and for the other top sides to slip up." Said head coach Dai Young.

The Blues are looking to avenge a 13-9 loss in Ireland on the first weekend of the season.
