The Blues look set to confirm two more signings over the next few weeks, as at long last, they look to get pen to paper on a forgein duo for next season.

The first name is the bigger of the two, Ben Blair. The Kiwi has been linked with a move to the Arms Park for most of the season, but a few weeks ago, it looked as though any deal had fallen through. But in a dramatic trun around, it now appears he will be following Xavier Rush and Jonah Lomu in making the switch from New Zealand to Cardiff.

Blair is 27 and has 4 All Black caps, the last of which in November of 2004 at the Millenium Stadium. He is a very talented full back with the added ability to kick long-range penalties aswell. He has been on loan to the Highlanders this season from his contracted side, the Crusaders, but he has become disallusioned by his role at the club, and sees the move to Wales as the perfect solution.

The second name is one a lot harder to pronounce, Tongan prop Taufa'ao Filise. Measuring 6ft 4 and weighing at a massive 19 stone he is very much a heavyweight in the front row. He signed with bath last season, but his contract expires in a month at the end of the current season. He has 11 caps for Tonga as well as 3 Pacific Island caps. He is 28 years old, and has previous experience at the Aukland Blues, like Rush and Lomu.
