Most people expected a tight game against league leaders Gloucester. In the end, despite a superb first half the Tigers went scoreless after the break and a Henry Paul penalty right before the end resulted in a winning margin of only 5, and a scoreline very close to a lot of peoples predictions.

Despite a lot of apprehension that the game against Gloucester might see the end the home record, only 4 people out of a total of 17 predictions went for a Tigers loss. A lot of people expected a tight game with the result that there were a lot of bonus points (click the link at the bottom to see everyones predictions) - six people gained a single point, and there were three who got 2 bonuses. These were Bullshine (who predicted 19-16), Nocker (18-15) and Tiny Tiger (also 18-15). Closest this week, though, was myself with a brilliant prediction (also known as a lucky guess!) of 19-15.

The new predictions table, with these points included, has therefore seen Nocker extend his lead at the top to two points. Bullshine joins Lizzie in second place, and Mike and myself are now in joint fourth just a point behind. Things are still tight, though, and there are 15 people within 10 points of the leader, so if any of those gets a prediction exactly right they could go straight into the lead.

Sunday sees the final game with our international players missing. Tigers will expect a victory against the team currently propping up the table, but as we have seen before, anything could happen. Send your predictions to tigerspredictions@hotmail.com as usual.
