Predictions league update

Unsurprisingly, nobody backed Northampton to take away the Tigers home record last Saturday. This meant that only two people scored a single point each, both for being close to the Saints score.

They were Rich W and Rob S, who predicted 30-23 and 40-25 respectively. Pity they weren't close to the Tigers score! The points they scored moved them both up a place in the predictions table at the expense of tjs10, Denise and Gaz.

This weekend sees the Heineken Cup start up again with the away trip to Beziers. On current form you would probably have to bet against the Tigers, but the loss of the home record will hopefully have given them a wakeup call and we might see some better rugby from them. A while ago I predicted 15-12 to the Tigers for this game, but I hope that I am wrong and we see the backs sort themselves out and score a few tries.
