Sale have named an unchanged squad for Saturday's game against London Irish at Heywood Road. So far we have been winning without playing well, but Irish will most likely demand more of us. At least Bryan Redpath is fully fit. London Irish's only win so far was against Saracens at the Madejski Stadium, though they had a good game last weekend against Wasps. In fact Conor O'Shea was happy despite the 21-31 scoreline and said: "If we can keep playing like this, we will win a lot of games".

Irish's performance also impressed Jim Mallinder and he said: "We noticed that Irish played very well in the second half against London Wasps, who are looking a force to be reckoned with this season."

So after limping to a narrow victory over Leeds last week, Sale will not be counting their chickens before this Saturday. We will have to play better than the last few matches to get a result, and indeed this might be the game when it finally 'comes together' for Sale. Bryan Redpath is fully fit and the close call on Friday will hopefully have given the team the jolt necessary to get back to last season's form.

Kick off is 2pm and the match is on Sky Sports 2, coverage starting at 1.30pm.
